Chris Jay

Chris Jay graduated from Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in ’98 and earned a B.A. in professional writing from Centenary College of Louisiana in '02. He has since worked in public relations and as a freelance writer for publications including Louisiana Kitchen and Culture, Shreveport, Louisiana Cookin' and Louisiana Life. He is currently the social media and public relations manager for the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau, where he writes the local food and culture blog, He is a proud member of the Southern Foodways Alliance and a supporter of Slow Food North Louisiana.
